About me
Troy Hines, known in the music scene as DJ Dawg House, embarked on his journey to becoming a full-time DJ during his college years. Inspired by the unifying power of music, as demonstrated by DJ Major League, Troy's path took a turn after an injury ended his basketball career. While exploring various job opportunities, he met his mentor, DJ DashP, during a basketball officiating gig. Under DJ DashP's guidance, Troy mastered essential DJ skills and invested countless hours into practice and equipment. Starting with complimentary gigs for friends, he soon booked his first paid event, which solidified his dedication to the craft. Despite facing challenges, Troy further refined his abilities by enrolling at the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound.
