The Sense of (Play)list project intention is to expand access to the cultural practice of Yoga and the artistry of meditative music to as many BreakBox Thought Collective members as possible. Movement by Amaya intends to lead a 75-minute yoga class and guided meditation for participants to explore movement in their bodies with recognizable Black inspired meditation music via special mixes made in collaboration with a multi-genre composer.
Fostering a safe space for students to practice and be introduced to nostalgic sounds reflective of their cultural fabric and history in a manner that calls the student to embody safety and belonging. The intention is to provide recurring classes to foster autonomy and ability to access other self-reflective and meditative services offered exclusively to BBTC members.
